RedHeads is one of the hottest cellars in Australia. In a very short period of time they’ve won 156 golds, five big trophies and huge points from top critics. Their new cellar in the famed Barossa Valley is just a stone’s throw from $700-plus-a-bottle Penfolds Grange.

While RedHeads boasts some of the top winemaking talent in the country, they’re also mates with many top growers—who’d rather save their very best grapes for the RedHeads’ boutique wines than have them disappear into some huge (albeit prestigious) blend.
1888 Cabernet is made with grapes from some of these growers’ top sites, and is named after the original cottage on the RedHeads’ new vineyard (which dates to 1888). As a RedHead, you’ll enjoy a yearly allocation of this rare Cab.
The 2019 is the richest yet, with heady aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and raspberry, dark chocolate and cedar spice. On the palate, there’s loads of dark fruit plus layers of tobacco and bitter chocolate spice (thanks to aging in French and U.S. barrels). It’ll be absolutely delicious when it arrives in in March, and get even better with careful cellaring over the next decade.

When the wine is ready for delivery in March, we’ll notify you and charge you the remaining balance: $274.88 for 12 or bottles or $134.94 for six. That’s only $24.99 or $26.99 per bottle (12 and six pricing respectively) while the retail price is normally $34.99. As always, Advantage members receive FREE shipping on the 12-bottle case.
