NPR aired its first broadcast of its afternoon news show, All Things Considered, on May 3, 1971. Since then, NPR has been a trusted news source, cultural commentator, and provider of countless driveway moments for millions of Americans. Made in honor of that rich history, our Vintage NPR release is just as good at bringing people together.
For a cuvée this important, we turned to Sonoma’s legendary Sebastiani family, who have made top-quality wine for decades. They sourced grapes from their favorite vineyards in premium Lodi, Clarksburg, Paso Robles, and beyond. All these regions thrived during California’s fantastic 2017 vintage, producing fruit with ripe, concentrated flavors.
Back in the winery, the Sebastiani team created a totally unique (and delicious) blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Tempranillo, and more. Each grape variety brings its own character, creating a wine that’s far greater than the sum of its parts. You’re in for layers of blackberry, cherry, and red plum, supported by hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, and cedar. Rich and silky-smooth, this limited-edition red will shine on its own or with barbecued meats, cheesy pasta bakes, and more.
Celebrate NPR’s legacy in style with this groundbreaking California red – order now.
