Château Mouquet 2016

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

2016 is “an excellent year, producing dynamic and well-structured wines that are fresh and balanced. These wines represent the new renaissance of Bordeaux,” raves critic James Suckling. And we can’t wait for you to taste our latest discovery from this glorious vintage.
Château Mouquet has been owned by Bruno Baylet’s family for three generations. He’s brought that legacy of winemaking expertise to bear in his ‘Cuvée Tradition’ release. This classy Bordeaux Supérieur features his perfectly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon from his family’s sustainably farmed vineyards.
Balanced and well structured, ‘Cuvée Tradition’ boasts a Gilbert & Gaillard gold medal, and delivers ripe, summer-fruit characters (think red plum and black cherry), plus touches of spice on the long, complex finish. Like all fine Bordeaux, it’s meant to be enjoyed with food. Serve it alongside roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, creamy mushroom risotto, and much more.
Great-value bottles from Bordeaux’s stellar 2016 vintage are becoming more difficult to find. Hurry to secure your share.
