Le Gris d'Herbauges Rosé 2021
We’re thrilled to bring you a new rosé from talented winemaker Jérôme Choblet and France’s Loire Valley. Using the rare Grolleau Gris grape and a special vinification process, the resulting pink brims with zesty aromatics and juicy red-fruit flavors.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Beyond the Label

We’re thrilled to bring you an exciting, brand-new rosé from talented winemaker Jérôme Choblet. It’s crafted with a pink-skinned version of Grolleau Noir—the Grolleau Gris grape, primarily planted in France’s Loire Valley. It’s so rare that there are fewer than 1,000 acres of this grape planted across the earth.

Not only does Jérôme use this uncommon grape, but he also applies a special, but secretive, vinification process in the winery. With the right cold temperatures and a specific skin contact method (how long the grape skins intermingle with the wine), the result is a beautifully fresh, blush-toned rosé. Jérôme's efforts have already been rewarded with a gold medal from the judges at Concours International de Lyon.

Look forward to crisp and refreshing aromas of strawberry, melon, peach, citrus and white flowers. Although this is a dry rosé, you can expect a juicy palate brimming with red-fruit flavors. Enjoy a glass on its own, or pair it with your choice of fish, salad or cheese.

Join the revolution and try this new, zesty pink today.
