Back in 1928, Ettore Anselmi planted vines in northern Italy’s premium Friuli region, right near the crystal-blue Adriatic Sea. He knew the cooling influence from the water and nearby Alps would create the ideal conditions for pristine Pinot Grigio. Today, his son Luigi tends the vineyards with all the same care and attention. And we were honored when he offered us a friends-only, handwritten price on his Pinot Grigio.
Capisco (meaning ‘I understand’) delivers waves of ripe pear, apple and pineapple characters, plus a fine mineral structure. A mouthwatering aperitif and equally delicious with grilled fish, chicken salads or roasted white meats.
