Deep inside the oldest building in Rioja’s ancient village of Laguardia, Fernando Domingo works his winemaking magic. We were thrilled to be able to get our hands on his outstanding, berry-packed rosé – and we can’t wait for you to try it.

Beyond the Label

Bodegas Casa Primicia (which occupies the oldest building in the village of Laguardia) is counted among Spanish wine expert John Radford’s top 20 Rioja cellars and has been rated highly by top critic Robert Parker. They make some of our most-loved Rioja reds – and now we’re thrilled to bring you their mouthwatering rosado.

It’s so popular, it’s usually spoken for in advance. But our contact on the ground, Beth Willard, got in early and secured a small parcel. And we’re positively tickled pink about it.

Blame it on winemaker Fernando Domingo’s upbringing in sunny, seaside Valencia – where refreshing, berry-packed pinks are always in demand – we think his rosé is summer sipping perfection. Starring strawberry-fruited Tempranillo (great grape of Rioja) with a healthy dose of raspberry-fueled Garnacha, it’s delicious on its own or paired with, well, just about anything. Salads, barbecue, seafood, cheeses – this is one pink you need to have in your fridge this summer.

Order yours before our limited cases are snapped up by all our rosé-loving customers.
