Since graduating top of his class at Florence’s wine university, “Paolo Masi has made an excellent impression with the estate wines of his family property,” says The Wine Advocate. He’s also a bit of a rebel. To craft his new ‘Poggerissi’ cuvée, Paolo sourced Sangiovese grapes from vineyards in Chianti and from prime-sited plots just outside its borders. That means the wine can’t say Chianti on the label, but you’ll still enjoy all the hallmarks of fine Chianti in the glass.
