Collezione di Paolo Sangiovese 2019

“Looking for a good Chianti that won’t break the bank?” asks Wine Spectator. Their ‘hot tip’ is Paolo Masi. For years, our customers have enjoyed privileged access to many of his wonderful Tuscan reds (at very favorable prices). And because 2019 was a stellar harvest across Italy, there’s really never been a better time to get to know this winemaking maestro.

Affectionately known as his ‘mini Chianti,’ Collezione di Paolo is made with Sangiovese grapes grown in prime-sited vineyards just outside the Chianti zone. Loaded with vibrant red fruits and an earthy complexity, it’s a perennial customer favorite and one perfect dinner red. Serve alongside a heaping plate of meaty pasta or with nearly any style of pizza.

Our own hot tip: Don’t put off ordering. Paolo has a lot of fans – and he only made so much of this beauty.
