Guyendac 2023
Forget pricey white Bordeaux—Bergerac is a forgotten enclave of high-quality, top-value whites like this one. A citrusy-fresh blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle, it was lees aged for an extra creamy kick.

Flavor Profile

Wine Flavor Profile
Guyendac is a medium-bodied white wine with aromas of ripe grapefruit, lemon and pineapple, plus hints of fresh-cut grass. More zingy citrus flavors and a distinctive grassy freshness layer to create a creamy mid-palate that leads to a long finish.

Shellfish, chicken, pork, herb sauces, zesty green salads and other vegetarian dishes, goat cheese.
Beyond the Label

Crafted by renowned consultant Pascal Poussevin and talented winemaker Didier Grandeau, Guyendac is an elegant and creamy, pineapple-accented white that gives even the best Bordeaux blancs a run for their money.

The wine takes it's name from the ancient Guyenne region—an area now called Bergerac—found just a short trip inland from the much better-known Bordeaux. Today, it's home to “some of the best-value wine in France,” according to Decanter, and this wine is your delicious proof.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle harvested at night to maximize freshness, the wine was aged on its lees to impart a creamy complexity to the vibrant citrus, pineapple and fresh-cut grass characters. Delicious solo, served as an apertif, it's also fabulous alongside any type of seafood.

One of our favorite French white discoveries in recent years—you’ve got to try it.
