Farnese Vini is a three-time Italian Winery of the Year (critic Luca Maroni) and the estate behind our best-selling Ultima Edizione red. It’s a wine that wins rave reviews from customers and critics with every new release. Needless to say, we were thrilled when the Farnese team offered to craft an Ultima Edizione in white.
And we weren’t the only ones to fall for Ultima Edizione Bianco. Leading critic Luca Maroni rated the last two vintages an impressive 98 points (a near-perfect score on his trademark 99-point scale). And the new release is every bit as delectable.
A unique blend of Italian native Pecorino and international stars Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato, Ultima Edizione overflows with fresh white flower and citrus-fruit aromas. Crisp, juicy and refreshing, the palate delivers ripe apricot, apple and passion fruit flavors, all leading to a long, vibrant finish. While it makes a delicious aperitif, this lovely white will really shine with creamy pastas, grilled chicken or seafood dishes.
