Beyond the Label

If you’re a fine fizz fan, we’d like to direct your attention to England (yes!), where a growing number of quality-obsessed producers are making superb Champagne rivals.

And this one is English sparkling’s true ‘crowning’ glory.

It was grown at the greatest château of them all (and the oldest inhabited castle in the world), Windsor. Vineyards were planted here in the 12th century for Henry II. Fast forward 850 years, and Tony Laithwaite has been permitted by The Crown Estate and Royal Farms to revive this ancient vineyard tradition.

It was front-page news when this secret little vineyard’s existence leaked out. Our customers have exclusive access to the “destiny-laden bubbly” it produces, a wine which Hugh Johnson says pushed English fizz to “a new peak of excitement.”

And speaking of excitement, International Wine Challenge judges have rated this stunning 2015 release 94 points:

“Brioche aromas with a nutty complexity … a lovely, classic sparkling.”

Sparkling wine enthusiasts snapped up every last drop of the inaugural release in record time. Don't miss your chance to get a bottle of its highly acclaimed successor. Perfect for very special occasions.
