Magnum Wine (1.5L)

Wine often ages slower in magnums compared to a standard 750mL bottle. Magnums have the same size corks as standard bottles, but twice the amount of wine, meaning the oxygen-to-wine ratio is lower. This makes for a slower oxidation process and a steadier aging environment for developing flavors and textures while retaining freshness.

A magnum contains approximately 1.5 liters, which is exactly double the volume of a standard 750 mL bottle.
