In 2002, a group of top winemakers began an after-hours experiment in a humble shed. By day, they worked for the big names, driven by shareholder demands. By night, they crafted the wines they wanted to make. The results were nothing short of magical—selling out instantly, earning praise and stunning critics.
Today, RedHeads has grown from a covert experiment into an unstoppable force, based in their custom-built sustainable winery in the Barossa Valley. Their unique winery and vineyard sit in the world-famous Barossa Valley—just down the road from legends like Penfolds (makers of iconic, $700+ Grange) and Yalumba (who craft $320+ The Caley).

A great wine with a great story
For over 20 years, RedHeads has been pioneering terrific, award-winning wines in various cellars, firstly in McLaren Vale, then in the Barossa, aka Australia’s Napa Valley. In 2018, they finally put down real roots: a small boutique cellar with a vineyard, surrounded on all sides by some of the biggest names in Aussie wine. They built the winery from scratch, so sustainability could be firmly at its core—from its solar-paneled roof to its water re-use and local sourcing. They’ve already won four major awards for their green credentials.
RedHeads has always been renowned for hunting down the very finest grapes from small, independent growers. They liberate them from anonymous blends and allow them to shine in their small-batch wines. Fans adore them and they’ve won many trophies, gold medals and 90+ point ratings from top critics.
