The cuvée name, Verso Cielo, is a reference to Paolo’s special vineyards, planted “facing skyward” in the hills of the premium Chianti sub-zone of Rufina. This ideal exposure helps grapes soak up lots of sun, yielding fuller, more robust flavors in the glass. A generous, 14-month slumber in fine oak adds even greater complexity.
