Flavor Profile
Rosé has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years. In France, they now drink more rosé than white – and for the most mouthwatering pinks, there’s no place like sunny Provence, rosé’s spiritual home.
This crisp example is brought to you by the talented Laurent Bréban, who works his magic at a renowned village cellar in the exciting Alpes de Haute Provence region on the Côte d’Azur (not far from the Italian border). On the label, you’ll spot an old photo of the famous Château de Vauvenargues, the former home of Pablo Picasso. In your glass, expect a masterpiece of aromas and flavors – beguiling crushed cherry and white blossoms, with a kiss of juicy raspberry and wild herb on the finish.
Like many fine Provence rosés, L’Art de Provence was crafted with a classic trio of grape varieties: red-fruited Grenache, spicy Syrah, and softly perfumed Cinsault. Take a sip, close your eyes, and you may just be transported to a yacht in sunny Provence. A stylish aperitif, it (like all dry rosé) is also a versatile food wine. Pair it with simple white fish, chicken and veggies, or all types of cheeses.
Don’t miss out on this elegant pink.
