Grande Fleur de Lyeth ANNIVERSARY Reserve 2018

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Sonoma’s Lyeth Estate, a pioneer in the art of blending since 1981, has a world-class reputation for their Bordeaux-style blends. Under the leadership of the illustrious Jean-Charles Boisset and talented winemaker Katie Carter, quality has truly skyrocketed. Their regular Reserve is a BIG customer favorite, so we’re thrilled to introduce this special Anniversary release.
Northern California’s ideal growing conditions – think cool Pacific breezes and hot, sunny afternoons – were at their apex again in 2018 (we really are in a golden age for California wine). Everything ripened to perfection, especially the French grapes favored by Lyeth. And Kate has crafted a truly masterful blend:
Luscious Petite Sirah gives intense color and berry flavors, while Petit Verdot adds structure and depth. A splash of barrel-aged, Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon delivers bold cassis and toasty spice notes, while a dash of Merlot imparts silky, plummy richness.
Even better – Grande Fleur de Lyeth will be right at home on your dinner table. Serve with a slow-roasted leg of lamb, herb-encrusted pork chop, barbecued spare ribs (if not too spicy), or hearty beef stews. It also partners well with firm aged cheeses like Cheddar, Gouda, or even Parmesan.
No matter how you plan to enjoy this special Anniversary Reserve, be sure to place your order soon. Very limited cases available.
