Les Vivandières 2018

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Named for the brave French women who cared for their troops on the battlefield (sometimes offering wine for courage), Les Vivandières is a gorgeous southern French white that fans of white Châteauneuf-du-Pape will definitely want to try.
It hails from talented winemaker Alain Gerbaud and the Rhône Valley’s premium Ventoux region. Located just 30 miles from storied Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Ventoux is perfectly suited to winemaking. The high altitude and cooling Mistral wind help the grapes retain freshness, while heat-trapping galet stones and brilliant sunshine encourage ripeness. And thanks to the superb 2018 vintage, this beautiful white is seriously impressive.
Boasting a gold medal from the prestigious Concours Générale Agricole de Paris, Les Vivandières is a classic marriage Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc. With its beautifully embossed bottle, expressive honeysuckle aromas, and luscious, dried-fruit flavors, it’ll be the star of any dinner party featuring roasted chicken, swordfish, or hearty vegetarian meals.
Alain only crafts this stunning white in very tiny batches. Hurry for your share.
