Hailing from the under-the-radar Cienega Valley and the stellar 2019 vintage, it was given the star treatment from vineyard to cellar. After careful selection, the whole grape clusters were pressed (as opposed to being crushed and de-stemmed), which creates a more elegant, flavorful wine. Barrel fermentation, followed by eleven months of barrel aging, imparted a creamy-smooth texture and vanilla oak notes to the vibrant, orchard-fruit flavors.
