Beyond the Label

Hervé Sabardeil crafts many of our bestselling wines, thanks to his expert winemaking and talent for creating crowd-pleasing styles. We’re thrilled to introduce you to his lovely pink, Cabalié Rosé. Expect juicy berry flavors and a subtle hint of spice in this delicious pour.

It was crafted with grapes from precious, old Grenache and Syrah vines in the rugged hills of southern France. These low-yielding plants produce seriously concentrated grapes, which translates to major flavor impact in your glass. And with Hervé’s remarkable talent, this wine is sure to delight.

After fermentation, Hervé matured the wine on its lees for several weeks, producing a round, aromatic rosé with vibrant strawberry and grenadine flavors, complemented by a hint of pepper. Enjoy this luscious pink on its own or serve it with grilled shrimp, pan-seared salmon, roasted chicken, steamed mussels and more. It’s highly versatile and will pair well with a wide range of foods—especially spicy dishes (think Thai and Indian cuisines).

As Hervé says, “Cabalié needs no ceremony, just big glasses to swirl the wine and transport yourself to the rugged hillside vineyards of my region.”
