Over 40 years ago, the village of Fabrézan’s local co-op crafted world-class wines. Their focus on quality naturally led to higher production costs, and eventually, they had to close up shop. But Benoît has restored the co-op to make this wine in honor of Charles Cros, a poet, inventor, and native of Fabrézan.
It’s a classic marriage of Carignan (60%), Syrah (30%), and Mourvèdre (10%). Look forward to ripe plum, black currant, and wild herb aromas.
