A classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Cazalis 2018 positively overflows with pure flavor – think layers of ripe black currant and fresh raspberry. To let all that pristine fruit character fully shine, the Cardelli family elected not to age the wine in oak, and did not add sulphur during the winemaking process.
Their attention to detail was rewarded by judges at top French guide Gilbert and Gaillard, who gave Château Cazalis a gold medal. They called it “beautiful ... concentrated nose of dark fruits ... a generous, powerful and balanced Bordeaux.”
