Château Rigaud 2016

Write a review
Château Rigaud 2016
Here’s a real treat from Jean Paux-Rosset, owner of Château la Négly (the first estate in the Languedoc region to win Robert Parker’s prized 100-point score). A classic blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre that brims with rich, velvety black fruit.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Beyond the Label

Jean Paux-Rosset owns Château la Négly, the first estate in southern France’s Languedoc region to win critic Robert Parker’s coveted 100-point score. For this exclusive release, he’s teamed up with Claude Gros, “one of the most talented, yet least known top consultants in the wine world” (critic Jeb Dunnuck).

Named for the town at its center, the Faugères region has a viticultural tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages. A classic blend of local Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, Château Rigaud earned 91 points from Dunnuck. He wrote: “a beautiful bouquet of blueberries, blackberries, violets...elegant, with a great finish. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.”
