Beyond the Label

An elegant, fruity red wine from Bordeaux, Château Tour Granins Grand Poujeaux is made in the smallest region of the Médoc.

Moulis-en-Médoc is known for its full-bodied red wines that balance the elegance of its southern neighbour Margaux with the structure of Saint-Julien to the north. Nestled between the renowned Château Poujeaux and Château Chasse-Spleen estates, is the family-owned winery Château Tour Granins.

The origins of the estate date back to the late 1920s when Edouard Batailley bought Chateau Peyrodon, in the town of Moulis-en-Médoc. In 1954, he acquired the nearby Château Granins, merging the two estates to form Château Tour Granins.

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Petit Verdot, this mature 2018 gem is filled with juicy black currant fruit, rich coffee and delicate oak influence from 12 months in French oak barrels.
