Collezione di Paolo is a crisp white with aromas of orchard fruit, melon and lemon zest lifted by floral tones. The palate offers similar flavors, plus a note of almond.

Beyond the Label

From the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti region, among the celebrated hills of Chianti Rufina, Collezione di Paolo Bianco Vergine is a fresh and tropical white crafted by none other than master winemaker Paolo Masi.

Paolo has long been famous for the rich Sangivese and red blends that dominate his production, but it’s white wine that he actually likes best.

So as a cheeky nod to his reputation, he set out to produce what he calls a white Chianti, made from Chardonnay and indigenous varieties Trebbiano and Malvasia, all sourced from a neighboring region called Valdichiana Toscana. (The area was a favorite of his father, Renzo.)

The resulting Bianco Vergine (or, “virgin white”) is like a Pinot Grigio, but with a bit more oomph. Light- to medium-bodied, it’s ultra refreshing and filled with notes of pear, apple and tropical fruits.

Order some today and sip it alongside a cheese and charcuterie board, a grain bowl or some tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms—or just chill it well and pour generously to enjoy all on its own (we won't tell).
