Company Bay is from a top cellar there, who crafted this special release just for us. The only stipulation? That we stay hush-hush about the estate’s name to avoid upsetting their customers (they’re used to paying more than you will).
A previous release earned 90 points from top New Zealand critic Sam Kim, who wrote: “Zesty and vibrant, this fabulous Sauvignon is filled with grapefruit, passion fruit, rock melon [cantaloupe], and lemongrass characters. The palate delivers excellent fruit purity and lively mouthfeel, wonderfully supported by fine texture and crisp acidity, finishing long and attractive.” We cannot WAIT for you to get this super-fresh 2018 in your glass – it’s every bit as “fabulous” as its predecessor!
Harvesting grapes in cool night temperatures and fermenting at a low temperature both helped capture maximum freshness.
