Costero Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Costero Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Crafted by Viviana Navarrete, who’s considered one of Chile’s top 10 winemakers, this expressive Sauvignon Blanc comes from the premium Leyda Valley. Brimming with fresh citrus and mandarin orange flavors, it’s refreshing on its own or with seafood.

Wine Details

Beyond the Label

When you want a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, you probably reach for a bottle from New Zealand or France. Be we strongly encourage you to explore the exhilarating Sauvignons coming out of Chile – starting with this lovely, great-value exclusive.

Considered one of the country’s top 10 winemakers, superstar Viviana Navarrete is “on a mission to produce Chile’s best cool-climate wines,” writes Wine Enthusiast. She works her magic in the premium Leyda Valley, which gives her a serious advantage in the vineyard...

Located just eight miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, the Leyda Valley is perfectly sited for producing brilliantly fresh whites. The region benefits from bright sunshine (a key ripening factor), as well as the cooling influence of morning fog and the Humboldt Current, which help preserve freshness. These conditions make for a long growing season, giving Viviana’s grapes plenty of time to develop complex flavors.

Inspired by the nearby Pacific, Costero (‘coastal’) Reserva delivers waves of expressive melon, grapefruit, mandarin orange, and lemon flavors. An exhilarating aperitif and equally delicious with seafood (we love mildly spicy ceviche), creamy goat cheese, and more.

Sauvignon Blanc is one of our most in-demand whites, and Viviana’s fine Reserva is guaranteed to impress. Act quickly to secure your share.
