Drawbridge is one of our most-loved California Cabernets…and we’re thrilled to introduce you to its luxurious reserve edition, Drawbridge Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s rich and velvety, brimming with cassis flavors, with gentle notes of vanilla and warming spice.
It’s crafted with grapes from a sustainable vineyard in Lodi, California, “one of the top wine regions in the country,” where “winemakers have quietly started producing some of the state’s best wines” (vinepair.com). Here, the grapes are prized for their low yields and full, even ripening––leading to great freshness and an impressive concentration of flavor.
Nine months of French oak aging adds further complexity, as secondary notes of baking spices and vanilla complement the smooth tannins on the finish. This sumptuous Cab is an excellent match for grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes and mature cheeses.
