Finca Libertad is a medium-bodied red wine offering aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry and raspberry with a hint of spice. On the palate, look forward to flavors of juicy plum, red currant and black cherries.

Our good friend and winemaker Javier Murúa comes from a Rioja bodega that spans multiple generations. He has a fantastic network of contacts with growers and winemakers and is always the first to hear when there's a small parcel of quality grapes or a special barrel of wine that needs a home.

He's not confined to Rioja either—he has friends all over Spain. Using these insider sources, he blends some phenomenal wines, both in terms of flavor and value.

Finca Libertad is a silky-smooth, fruity Tempranillo from vineyards throughout northeast Spain. It may have 'Vino Tinto' on the label, but it tastes much grander than that. Using purely the prized grape of Rioja, Tempranillo, it's bursting with juicy plum, redcurrant and black cherries. It's delicious alongside tapas, garlic mushrooms or roasted chicken—but just as great sipped on its own.
