Beyond the Label

If you’re a fan of California Chardonnay (or opulent, fruit-rich whites in general), then you simply must taste GFF Lodi Chardonnay 2021. It has received a lot of acclaim, including 91 points at the New York International Wine Competition.

Originally from Greece, the Kapiniaris family has brought four generations of winemaking expertise to their boutique estate in sunny California. This elegant Chardonnay bears the name GFF for the three men who crafted it: father Gus Kapiniaris (below), his son Frank and head winemaker, Franck Lambert.

After selecting the best grapes from the estate’s Lodi vineyards, the talented trio treated the wine to kid-glove care. You’re in for layers of succulent peach, ripe mango and expressive white flower notes. Take inspiration from the Kapiniaris family’s roots and pair their Chardonnay with Greek-inspired foods (hummus and tahini, anyone?) or tender white meats.

The Kapiniaris family takes pride in their quality reputation, and we think this Chardonnay is an impressive addition to their range. Order your share today, then tell us what you think with an online review.
