Hacienda de Lluna Viognier 2025

Flavor Profile
Interested in mixing up your white wine routine? You’ve found just the thing! Hacienda de Lluna is pure joy in a glass from an award-winning cooperative in Valencia, Spain. Equal parts floral and juicy-fruited, it’s a must-try for fans of Chardonnay and Chenin.
With roots that date back to the 1940s, the hugely acclaimed Bodega La Viña co-op boats myriad big awards, including “Best Cooperative in Spain” (in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) at Berliner Wein Trophy and “Best Producer, Spain” (in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) at Mundus Vini. Today, about 1,500 individual grower-members and wine-producing partners are involved, and it’s Jorge and Marta Martinez that craft this delicious bottling.
A native of France’s Rhône Valley, Viognier isn’t grown widely in Spain, but the two have discovered the grape absolutely loves their region’s heat and sunshine…
Expect aromas and flavors of white and yellow peaches, apricots and yellow nectarines, with surprisingly lifted acidity and honeysuckle overtones. Flirty and easy-drinking, it’s just 11% ABV, perfect for daytime sipping or weeknight cheers-ing with some cheese and charcuterie.
We recommend ordering more than one bottle at a time, honestly.
