The wine hails from premium sites in California’s beloved Lodi region, which is increasingly considered one of the top wine regions in the country. East of the largest gap in California’s Coast Ranges, the area has an idyllic Mediterranean climate characterized by warm, dry summers, but is kept cool by winds off the Pacific—the perfect combination of conditions for grape growth and ripening.
