When it comes to elegant rosé, Provence reigns supreme and the classically styled Maison Maillet Rosé will show you exactly why. Crisp and refreshing with summer berry flavors and citrus accents, it’s everything we want to sip in the sun.
The Maillet family has been part of Provence’s wine scene since 1860, initially as négociants (merchants who buy unfinished wine to complete, bottle and sell under their own label), and over time becoming one of the region’s most respected producers.
Today, talented winemaker and sixth-generation Jean-Claude runs the show, working closely with a network of top growers to source grapes and making the wine in their home cellar, near to the Grand Prix Paul Ricard circuit and just a short drive from the medieval village of Le Castellet.
This cuvée is a typical blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah that offers everything you could want in a French rosé: a pretty pale color, delicate red fruit flavors and lovely herby-citrus accents.
