Flavor Profile
Established in 2007, family-owned Arizona Stronghold Vineyards is on a mission to craft world-class wines that showcase the wild beauty of Arizona’s rugged desert terrain. And that’s exactly what you’ll discover in this elegant white wine…
Sedona Stronghold Desert Sky White is a unique blend of Grenache Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, with smaller portions of Trebbiano, Riesling, Viognier and Malvasia. The grapes predominantly come from the winery’s prized Bonita Springs Vineyard, which lies between the Winchester Mountains and Mount Graham in southeastern Arizona.
Perched between 3,300 feet to 4,300 feet above sea level, the vines benefit from brilliant sunshine, as well as a wide diurnal temperature range (hot days, cool nights) that extends the growing season and helps the fruit retain freshness. The result is a concentrated, balanced and vibrant white wine, overflowing with citrus blossom, white peach and green apple notes, layered by hints of honey and wet stone.
In the last couple decades, the Arizona wine industry has really come into its own—and as the state’s largest winery, quality-focused Arizona Stronghold Vineyards has been at the forefront of the evolution. Order this rare white today and taste for yourself.
