Cabernet Sauvignon is the beloved variety behind many of the world’s finest, most sought-after reds. The grape grows well in Sonoma, and it truly thrived during the excellent 2017 vintage, benefiting from a long growing season that ripened grapes to perfection. Sonoma’s warm, sunny days—tempered by rolling fog from the Pacific Ocean and the Russian River—and chilly nights result in remarkably pure fruit.
