Vinho Verde wine—often called “green wine”—comes from Portugal’s lush northwest. Light, crisp, and slightly effervescent, it’s made for easy drinking. The wine itself can be white, rosé, or red, though white Vinho Verde is the most common. Typically low in alcohol with bright citrus and green apple notes, it is the perfect refresher for warm days.
